It was 16 years ago when left Cor Jesu primary school. The past few years, I had been trying to find my primary school friends. But I was only primary 4 when I left Semarang to Jakarta, thus, as a kid, then, there was not much information gathered from my classmates. Thanks to this forum, I had found a few and surprisingly, they still remember me! It really brings back my memory to the days when I took ‘becak’ with my bro to school, rode bicycle with Ina to school, played Barbie at Olga’s house at Dr Cipto Rd, ran around Labuan 1 Street, played Badminton in my yard, climbed the palm tree, ate ‘Tante‘ Evi’s fried rice that was wrapped with omelette in canteen, church services at ‘Atmodirono‘ church and so on. It was a meaningful and unforgettable ‘kampong’ childhood before moving to ‘ibukota‘…
I treasure everything that God had allowed to happen in my life. There are ups and downs in life but the most important thing is how to cope with the ‘downs’ and carry on with life. Each episode is a lesson for me to learn how to face the future.
Lost and found… I hope to find more and more and more my childhood friends, especially my Cor Jesu primary school friends :o)
